  • MAVES began its work as an environmental charity in 2015.  By 2018 we had grown to the size requiring registration with the Charity Commission.  We did so under the name Arun Countryside Trust CIO to allow a wider long term remit, supporting the Arun countryside's cultural heritage alongside its natural environment.  We will continue to use the name 'MAVES' for our natural environment work. 

    Partner organisations include Sussex Wildlife Trust and Arundel Agenda 21.
