    Arun-based plant nursery group Farplants has asked for support to encourage local Councils to accept, and make sure local people know they will accept, the horticultural industry's new recyclable pots for kerbside recycling.  If you would like to help, please use the template letter which you can download as a Word document by clicking here.

  • MAVES began its work as an environmental charity in 2015.  By 2018 we had grown to the size requiring registration with the Charity Commission.  We did so under the name Arun Countryside Trust CIO to allow a wider long term remit, supporting the Arun countryside's cultural heritage alongside its natural environment.  We will continue to use the name 'MAVES' for our natural environment work. 

    Partner organisations include Sussex Wildlife Trust and Arundel Agenda 21.
